This fund Is not an endowment. It provides cash for maintenance requirements that exceed the normal annual operating income of IUGFS. The executive director and the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences IUGFS Steering Committee income of IUGFS. The resident manager, executive director, and the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences IUGFS Steering Committee approve expenditures from this fund on an as-needed basis.
